We don’t know if there’s any evidence of Scully baking in the show, but she certainly maintains a nice kitchen, and she cooks dinner for her parents in Season 1.  But, more importantly, baking is science! And Scully excels at science. She’s a medical doctor who also wrote a dissertation in the field of physics. She’s also great at chemistry, and so much of baking relies on chemistry and specific chemical reactions. Baking requires close attention to detail, a methodological approach, and careful measurements.  So the next time you bake something, try to channel a bit of Scully.
